Fish Pakora: My Crispy, Delicious Morsels of Fish

I love fish in all forms from raw (sashimi) to baked, grilled, fried etc. With my better half on vacation at home, I thought I would make some special afternoon snack and decided on fish pakora or fish fritters, even though he is not that fond of fish. Well that is not quite true, it seems to me just curried fish that he is not that fond of. Anyway, being myself, I entered my kitchen to prepare this dish and decided to find out what the following ingredients together would taste like. As it turns out, they turned out to be crispy, delicious morsels of fish. I used Basa fish fillet, in case you were wondering.

In a pan suitable for deep frying, heat oil. Once the oil is heated, fry small balls of fish mixture in medium heat for about 5 minutes or until fish is cooked and they balls are golden brown. Take them off the oil and place them on paper towel lined plate to remove any excess oil. Your fish pakora is ready to be devoured.

For serving, you can sprinkle fish pakora with chat masala and accompanied with Spicy Mayo (recipe can be found in the sauce section or just click on the link).

Makes 18 1 inch diameter fish balls.
