Creamy Pasta with Shrimp and Sausage

This was part of the meal last valentines day. This was a easy to make dinner that was special.


Pasta of your choice for two
1-2 Italian sausage, cooked and sliced
10-15 shrimps, number depends on size
1 cup sliced mushrooms
3 tbsp herb and garlic cream cheese
3-5 tbsp milk
1 tomato, chopped
Salt and pepper, to taste
Olive oil
Fresh coriander leaves, chopped

Boil pasta till al dente, drain and set aside. Sauté sliced mushrooms in a wok or frying pan with a little oil. Once the mushrooms are nicely golden, add cream cheese (I like using herb and garlic) and a little milk to the mushrooms and make a creamy sauce. Add chopped tomatoes and cook for about 30 seconds to a minute. Taste and add salt and pepper as needed. Add shrimp and sliced Italian sausages. Once the shrimp is cooked add the pasta and toss until the pasta is coated. Add your choice of fresh herb and serve.

If you like it a little hot, add some hot sauce of your choice to the sauce when adjusting for salt and pepper.
