A long, long time ago there lived a girl who liked to bake. She started to dream about being together with her true love and what they could do together. Well that girl was me! Dreamed of having my Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer but for one reason or another never got around to bringing one home, mostly because living in a small condo with limited counter space doesn’t fit well into the plans I had for it. When I got married my baby sister gave me my dream machine – Kitchen Aid Professional 600™ Series | Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer! Thank you, Baby Sis! At that time I did invest in a lot of the attachments and I will review them at a later date.

Now back to this magnificent machine. It makes making cakes and other cake (cookies, etc) related item so much easier and less time consuming. Making perfect whipped cream to top off that dessert takes mere minutes. Did I mention I was in love? It has been an invaluable companion of mine for the past 3 weeks as I have been taking a cake decorating course. Even though I have moved into an apartment with a smaller kitchen than my previous residence, it has been granted a permanent spot on my counter top. This is an honour reserved for only a few 🙂
